Laws § 445.835","heading":"Final bill.","body":"Sec. 5.\n\nThe final bill shall separately state in writing the following:\n\nThe name and address of the service dealer as described in section 3(2)(a).\n\nService call charges, if any.\n\nThe labor charge.\n\nParts charge, if any, including whether the parts were new or used and the actual part number and manufacturer.\n\nThe warranty provided by the supplier of the part. If the service dealer has no knowledge of a supplier's or manufacturer's warranty or knows that no supplier's or manufacturer's warranty exists, he or she shall so state.\n\nThe service dealer's labor warranty.\n\nOther charges, stated in detail.\n\nSales tax.\n\nA statement that the customer, in order to enforce any warranty provided by this act, is required to notify the service dealer in writing, in person, or by telephone not later than the time period of the warranty for the part or labor.\n\nThe right of a customer to bring an action under this act.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 445","Act Act-468-of-2002"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-445-835","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"7205e32b607c2a3ae13b2f6c24e27ea7d8b10f5976acd519377d929704f5f955","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-445.834","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-445.836"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
