Notice of the submission shall be given as required by law in the election of county officers and shall be submitted in substantially the following form:\n\n\"Shall the boundary of the county of ........... be adjusted to include all of the ....(city).... of .............?\n\nYes ( )\n\nNo ( )\"\n\nThe result of the vote shall be certified by the secretary of state.
