Laws § 450.1332","heading":"Share certificates; contents.","body":"Sec. 332.\n\nA certificate representing shares shall state upon its face all of the following:\n\nThat the corporation is formed under the laws of this state.\n\nThe name of the person to whom issued.\n\nThe number and class of shares, and the designation of the series, if any, which the certificate represents.\n\nA certificate representing shares issued by a corporation which is authorized to issue shares of more than 1 class shall set forth on its face or back or state on its face or back that the corporation will furnish to a shareholder upon request and without charge a full statement of the designation, relative rights, preferences, and limitations of the shares of each class authorized to be issued, and if the corporation is authorized to issue any class of shares in series, the designation, relative rights, preferences, and limitations of each series so far as the same have been prescribed and the authority of the board to designate and prescribe the relative rights, preferences, and limitations of other series.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 450","Act Act-284-of-1972"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-450-1332","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"83eb5016acfa23548e5c3cd048c019113de780507661d11d54887e623c9770ed","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-450.1331","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-450.1334"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
