Laws § 451.401","heading":"Trust mortgage foreclosure; definitions.","body":"Sec. 1.\n\nAs used in this act:\n\nThe term \"trust mortgage\" means any trust mortgage, trust indenture or deed of trust given to secure bonds or other obligations issued and authenticated as therein set forth.\n\nThe term \"trustee\" means the trustee or trustees of any such \"trust mortgage.\"\n\nThe term \"bonds\" means bonds or other obligations outstanding and secured by any such \"trust mortgage.\"\n\nThe term \"request\" as used in sections 2 and 3 of this act means the written request filed by the trustee or holders of bonds for authorization of the trustee to bid for and acquire the mortgaged property as provided in section 2 of this act.\n\nThe term \"non-concurring holder or holders\" means such holder or holders as shall have filed written refusal to concur in said \"request.\"","path":["MI Code","Chapter 451","Act Act-210-of-1933"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-451-401","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"a33398909df80022fb3a4ed47b4679b303e96c75a31d11ce49e464425e182aab","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-451.437","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-451.402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
