Laws § 453.403","heading":"Dairymen's association; articles, contents.","body":"Sec. 3.\n\nThe articles of such association shall contain:\n\nFirst, The names of the persons associating and the places of their residence;\n\nSecond, The name of such association and the place of its business office, which shall be at the place of residence of the secretary;\n\nThird, The object and purposes of such association, which shall be to secure the co-operation of dairymen and to promote the social, moral and business interests of its members, and the period for which it is incorporated, not exceeding 30 years;\n\nFourth, The number of directors and regular officers and the time of holding its annual meeting: Provided, however, That such association may, in its articles of association, or by-laws, provide for and appoint other meetings thereof, than the annual meeting, to be held when and where the association may from time to time designate and appoint;\n\nFifth, The terms and conditions of membership therein.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 453","Act Act-100-of-1895"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-453-403","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"f4e64e8e56611dd2cc90f560462c157f4e5e36c1cb2302900d6f709b9faa992d","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-453.402","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-453.404"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
