Laws § 455.7","heading":"Annual report; stockholders, contents; perjury.","body":"Sec. 7.\n\nAt each annual meeting such corporation shall make a report to the stockholders, signed by a majority of the board of directors, verified by the oath of the president and secretary of said corporation, containing:\n\nFirst, The amount of capital actually paid in;\n\nSecond, The amount invested in real estate, with a general description of the same;\n\nThird, The amount of personal estate, with a general description thereof;\n\nFourth, The amount of their debts and credits as near as may be;\n\nFifth, A general condensed statement of their business and financial condition;\n\nSixth, The name of each stockholder and his residence and the number of shares held by him as appears by the books of said corporation at the date of such report; and if any person shall knowingly swear or affirm falsely in said report, he shall be deemed guilty of perjury, and punished accordingly.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 455","Act Act-230-of-1897"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-455-7","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"e788efcc0e220f2342a867dbbd5a762db28b902bb764b9638bb083faa03f333d","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-455.6","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-455.8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
