Laws § 458.202","heading":"Certificate; execution, contents.","body":"Sec. 2.\n\nIt shall be the duty of the persons so chosen as such trustees to proceed to execute in duplicate, and acknowledge before any person authorized to take acknowledgment of deeds, a certificate which shall contain:\n\nFirst, A copy of the records showing the proceedings and vote on the resolution accepting and adopting such articles of association;\n\nSecond, A copy of the articles of association so adopted, which shall give the name of the corporation; the name of the township, village or city, and of the county in which it is located; a statement of the purpose of the incorporation; the period for which it is incorporated; and it may contain such other provisions as may be desired and as are appropriate and in accordance with law.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 458","Act Act-265-of-1909"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-458-202","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"479e4111757804a30aad91dc28b91d94531dfe4a71141d7fda3d6815b7231ab3","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-458.201","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-458.203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
