Laws § 47.1","heading":"Board of county auditors; creation, referendum; form of resolution.","body":"Sec. 1.\n\nThe board of supervisors of any county in this state, except in such counties where provision has heretofore been made for the creation of the office of county auditor or board of county auditors, may, upon a majority vote of the members elect of said board, at any October session thereof, submit the question of creating and establishing a board of county auditors or county auditor in such county to a vote of the electors of said county. The board of supervisors may submit the question at a general election.
