Laws § 484.1503","heading":"Adding jurisdiction of public agency to 9-1-1 service district; conditions.","body":"Sec. 503.\n\nAfter installation and commencement of operation of a 9-1-1 system implemented pursuant to this act, all or part of the jurisdiction of a public agency within the county shall be added to the 9-1-1 service district pursuant to section 504 if both of the following occur:\n\nThe legislative body of the public agency adopts a resolution including all or part of the public agency within the 9-1-1 service district.\n\nA certified copy of the resolution adopted by the legislative body of the public agency is forwarded by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the county clerk.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 484","Act Act-32-of-1986"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-484-1503","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"570ad28f02bc0138d7e9dec6223befeab2ad6c2bfe7b1158f12540a9ee3fb06a","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-484.1502","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-484.1504"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
