Laws § 500.1204d","heading":"Continuing education fund; creation; administration; disposition and reversion of funds; funding of shortfall.","body":"Sec. 1204d.\n\nThe continuing education fund is created as a separate, self-supporting fund and shall be administered by the commissioner. Money in the continuing education fund shall be used for the administration of the continuing education requirements in section 1204c.\n\nMoney received pursuant to section 1204c shall be deposited in the continuing education fund.\n\nMoney in the continuing education fund shall not revert to the general fund at the close of the fiscal year but shall remain in the continuing education fund.\n\nNotwithstanding section 240(3), if money in the continuing education fund is not sufficient to provide for the administration of the continuing education requirements in section 1204c, the shortfall shall be funded from the agent's appointment fees required by section 240(1)(c).","path":["MI Code","Chapter 500","Act Act-218-of-1956"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-500-1204d","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"6f84636d437f883de82c78ea03c351370ec41d6175b15a42d9ca95e1550dc2f6","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-500.1204c","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-500.1204e"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
