Laws § 500.3402g","heading":"Blanket disability insurance policy; certificate; payment of benefits.","body":"Sec. 3402g.\n\n(1) An insurer shall not require an individual application from an individual covered under a blanket disability insurance policy. The director may require the insurer to furnish a certificate to each individual insured under a blanket disability policy.\n\n(2) Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, an insurer shall pay benefits under a blanket disability insurance policy to the insured or to the insured's designated beneficiary or estate. If the insured is a minor or developmentally disabled, an insurer may pay benefits under a blanket disability insurance policy to the insured's parent, guardian, or other person to which the insured is a dependent.
