Laws § 500.3406tt","heading":"Coverage for certain hormonal contraceptives.","body":"Sec. 3406tt.\n\nIn addition to any coverage requirements under state or federal law, an insurer that delivers, issues for delivery, or renews in this state a health insurance policy that provides coverage for prescription drugs shall provide coverage for a hormonal contraception patch, self-administered hormonal contraception, or vaginal ring hormonal contraceptive that is covered under an insured health insurance policy and that is prescribed and dispensed by a pharmacist as provided in section 17744g of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.17744g, at a pharmacy in the insurer's network. An insurer described in this section shall also provide coverage for consultation.
