Laws § 54.321","heading":"Professional surveying services; procurement; use of grant funds.","body":"Sec. 11.\n\n(1) The commission shall procure professional surveying services for the purposes of this act through negotiated contracts or grants to the county remonumentation programs in counties adjacent to the Michigan-Indiana state line.\n\n(2) A county receiving grant funds under subsection (1) may provide the professional surveying services or procure professional surveying services through negotiated contracts.\n\n(3) The commission or a county shall award contracts only to persons incorporated in this state or with a principal place of business in this state.\n\n(4) A county that receives grant funds under subsection (1) shall not commingle the funds with grant funds under the state survey and remonumentation act, 1990 PA 345, MCL 54.261 to 54.279.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 54","Act Act-81-of-2022"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-54-321","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"b7ec0db118efa4bab2293fd97da2640c80f5d38af562da7181980f28bbe2b191","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-54.319","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-54.323"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
