Laws § 560.134","heading":"Final plat; description of land.","body":"Sec. 134.\n\nThere shall be typewritten or printed on the final plat, a full and detailed description of the land embraced in the subdivision by distances and bearings. The description shall also include:\n\nThe caption of the plat.\n\nIf a private claim, the number of the claim and the municipality in which the land is situated.\n\nIf a tract of land that is not a section or part of a section, the name by which the tract is legally known and the town and range and the municipality in which it is situated.\n\nThe name of the original plat and any part of it replatted.\n\nA description by distances and bearings of each excepted parcel.\n\nThe number of lots, the number of outlots and the number of private parks.\n\nThe intermediate traverse line, if one is required on the plat.\n\nThe area within the existing right of way of any abutting street, county road or state trunk line highway, if such area has not previously been dedicated to public use and if it is the proprietor's land.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 560","Act Act-288-of-1967"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-560-134","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"04cf7dad48162a2cdacf0c305fe5894cacccec22daaab6a3fa0302f45ea5d860","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-560.133","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-560.135"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
