Laws § 600.1080","heading":"Disposition of funds.","body":"Sec. 1080.\n\nThe supreme court is responsible for the expenditure of state funds for the establishment and operation of drug treatment courts. Federal funds provided to the state for the operation of drug treatment courts shall be distributed by the department of community health or the appropriate state agency as otherwise provided by law.\n\nThe state treasurer may receive money or other assets from any source for deposit into the appropriate state fund or funds for the purposes described in subsection (1).\n\nEach drug treatment court shall report quarterly to the state court administrative office on the funds received and expended by that drug treatment court, in a manner prescribed by the state court administrative office.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 600","Act Act-236-of-1961"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-600-1080","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"ea16d13c1e0bdc1a542da1a94b3488e7ef123c2ffeff510f6cbf918b612b7c48","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-600.1078","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-600.1082"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
