Laws § 66.12","heading":"Security for costs; filing by complaining witness; liability.","body":"Sec. 12.\n\nIn prosecutions for violations of the ordinances of the village, commenced by a person other than an officer of the village, the court may require the complaining witness to file security for the payment of the costs of the proceedings, in case the defendant is determined not to be responsible.
