Laws § 767.7f","heading":"Grand jury convened by court of appeals; term; extension; dismissal; recall.","body":"Sec. 7f.\n\nExcept as provided in subsection (2), the term of a grand jury convened under section 7c shall not exceed 6 months.\n\nThe court of appeals of this state may order the term of the grand jury extended for an additional period not to exceed 6 months, for good cause shown. The judge presiding over the grand jury proceedings shall dismiss the grand jury upon completion of the functions of the grand jury whether or not the maximum term of the grand jury has been met.
