Score prior record variable 3 by determining which of the following apply and by assigning the number of points attributable to the one that has the highest number of points:\n\n(a) The offender has 3 or more prior high severity juvenile adjudications 50 points (b) The offender has 2 prior high severity juvenile adjudications 25 points (c) The offender has 1 prior high severity juvenile adjudication 10 points (d) The offender has no prior high severity juvenile adjudications 0 points\n\n(a) The offender has 3 or more prior high severity juvenile adjudications\n\n50 points\n\n(b) The offender has 2 prior high severity juvenile adjudications\n\n25 points\n\n(c) The offender has 1 prior high severity juvenile adjudication\n\n10 points\n\n(d) The offender has no prior high severity juvenile adjudications\n\n0 points\n\n(2) As used in this section, \"prior high severity juvenile adjudication\" means a juvenile adjudication for conduct that would be any of the following if committed by an adult, if the order of disposition was entered before the sentencing offense was committed:\n\n(a) A crime listed in offense class M2, A, B, C, or D.\n\n(b) A felony under a law of the United States or another state corresponding to a crime listed in offense class M2, A, B, C, or D.\n\n(c) A felony that is not listed in offense class M2, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, or H and that is punishable by a maximum term of imprisonment of 10 years or more.\n\n(d) A felony under a law of the United States or another state that does not correspond to a crime listed in offense class M2, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, or H and that is punishable by a maximum term of imprisonment of 10 years or more.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 760","Act Act-175-of-1927"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-777-53","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"80bf9d6d96c93e3022aaba8e2f40c9a461fa32792b7d32e479d22e024c5a81b6","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-777.52","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-777.54"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
