Laws § 800.401b","heading":"Assets of prisoners; form.","body":"Sec. 1b.\n\nThe department shall develop a form which shall be used by the department to obtain information from all prisoners regarding assets of the prisoners.\n\nUpon being developed, the form shall be submitted to each person who is a prisoner as of the date the form is developed and to every person who thereafter is sentenced to imprisonment under the jurisdiction of the department. The form may be resubmitted to a prisoner by the department for purposes of obtaining current information regarding assets of the prisoner.\n\nEvery prisoner shall complete the form or provide for completion of the form and the prisoner shall swear or affirm under oath that to the best of his or her knowledge the information provided is complete and accurate.\n\nThe department shall have developed the form provided for under this section not later than 30 days after the effective date of this section.","path":["MI Code","Chapter 800","Act Act-253-of-1935"],"source_url":"https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=mcl-800-401b","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:31Z","sha256":"4d006882cb1c870c4c1182993f7b21d1fb14bc337f04b35f242784e17c372ac1","source_id":"us-mi","stale":false,"prev":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-800.401a","next":"us-mi/mich.-comp.-laws-800.402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
