Licensed foster care.\nThis section applies to county agencies, private child-placing agencies, and individuals who place children or youth who have a known communicable disease, as defined in section 144.4172, subdivision 2, in foster care settings licensed under this chapter.\nSubd. 2. Placing agency's or individual's duties.\nNotwithstanding sections 144.291 to 144.298, before a county agency, private child-placing agency, or individual places a child or youth with a known communicable disease with a licensed foster care provider, the agency or individual must:\n(1) disclose to the foster care license holder the child's communicable disease; and\n(2) determine that the foster care provider has the ability to provide care to the child or youth.","path":["CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND FAMILIES","CHAPTER 142B.
