Stat. § 148E.035","heading":"VARIANCES.","body":"If the effect of a requirement according to this chapter is unreasonable, impossible to execute, absurd, or would impose an extreme hardship on a licensee, the board may grant a variance if the variance is consistent with promoting and protecting the public health, safety, and welfare.
