Notification requirement.\nAn individual licensed as a certified midwife must notify the board when the individual renews their certification. If a licensee fails to provide notification, the licensee is prohibited from practicing as a certified midwife.\nSubd. 2. Denial of license.\nRefusal of an applicant to supply information necessary to determine the applicant's qualifications, failure to demonstrate qualifications, or failure to satisfy the requirements for a license contained in this chapter or rules of the board may result in denial of a license. The burden of proof is upon the applicant to demonstrate the qualifications and satisfaction of the requirements.","path":["HEALTH","CHAPTER 148G.
