Salary limits.\nThe appropriate appointing authority shall set the salary rates for positions listed in this section based upon the salaries prescribed by the Compensation Council established under section 15A.082.\nSubd. 2. Agency head salaries.\nThe salary for a position listed in this subdivision shall be determined by the Compensation Council under section 15A.082. The commissioner of management and budget must publish the salaries on the department's website. This subdivision applies to the following positions:\nCommissioner of administration;\nCommissioner of agriculture;\nCommissioner of education;\nCommissioner of children, youth, and families;\nCommissioner of commerce;\nCommissioner of corrections;\nCommissioner of health;\nCommissioner, Minnesota Office of Higher Education;\nCommissioner, Minnesota IT Services;\nCommissioner, Housing Finance Agency;\nCommissioner of human rights;\nCommissioner of human services;\nCommissioner of labor and industry;\nCommissioner of management and budget;\nCommissioner of natural resources;\nCommissioner, Pollution Control Agency;\nCommissioner of public safety;\nCommissioner of revenue;\nCommissioner of employment and economic development;\nCommissioner of transportation;\nCommissioner of veterans affairs;\nExecutive director of the Gambling Control Board;\nExecutive director of the Minnesota State Lottery;\nExecutive director of the Office of Cannabis Management;\nCommissioner of Iron Range resources and rehabilitation;\nCommissioner, Bureau of Mediation Services;\nOmbudsman for mental health and developmental disabilities;\nOmbudsperson for corrections;\nChair, Metropolitan Council;\nChair, Metropolitan Airports Commission;\nSchool trust lands director;\nExecutive director of pari-mutuel racing;\nCommissioner, Public Utilities Commission;\nChief Executive Officer, Direct Care and Treatment; and\nDirector of the Office of Emergency Medical Services.\nSubd. 3.\nMS 2022 [Repealed, 2023 c 62 art 2 s 133]\nSubd. 4.\nMS 2022 [Repealed, 2023 c 62 art 2 s 133]\nSubd. 5.\nMS 2022 [Repealed, 2023 c 62 art 2 s 133]","path":["STATE AGENCIES","CHAPTER 15A.
