Stat. § 171.069","heading":"TRANSLATIONS.","body":"For any document submitted to the commissioner under this chapter in a language other than English:\n(1) the document must be accompanied by a translation of that document into the English language;\n(2) the translation must be sworn to by the translator as being a true and accurate translation;\n(3) the translator must not be related by blood or marriage to the applicant; and\n(4) the translator must be:\n(i) accredited by the American Translators Association;\n(ii) certified by a court of competent jurisdiction;\n(iii) approved by an embassy or consulate of the United States or diplomatic or consular official of a foreign country assigned or accredited to the United States;\n(iv) affiliated with or approved by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services or a government jurisdiction within the United States;\n(v) an attorney licensed to practice in the United States or affiliated with that attorney;\n(vi) a vendor listed to provide translation services for the state of Minnesota; or\n(vii) a qualified individual who certifies the individual is competent to translate the document into English.","path":["TRANSPORTATION","CHAPTER 171.
