The department may assess a fine of up to $5,000 for a violation of sections 181.960 to 181.964.\nThe fine, together with costs and attorney fees, may be recovered in a civil action in the name of the department brought in the district court of the county where the violation is alleged to have occurred or where the commissioner has an office.\nThe fine provided by this section is in addition to any other remedy provided by law.","path":["LABOR, INDUSTRY","CHAPTER 181.
