A Purple Heart city or county may designate a prominent parking space at city hall or the county government center as a \"Reserved for a Purple Heart Recipient\" parking space. A Purple Heart city or county may accept donations to pay for a sign that states that the city or county is a Purple Heart city or county, and to pay for a plaque to be displayed on public property. A Purple Heart city or county may honor Purple Heart recipients by resolution proclaiming August 7 as Purple Heart Day.","path":["VETERANS","CHAPTER 197.
