Stat. § 256.99","heading":"REVERSE MORTGAGE PROCEEDS DISREGARDED.","body":"All reverse mortgage loan proceeds received, including interest or earnings thereon, shall be disregarded and shall not be considered available to the borrower for purposes of determining initial or continuing eligibility for, or amount of, medical assistance, Minnesota supplemental assistance, general assistance, or a federal or state low interest loan or grant. This section applies regardless of the time elapsed since the loan was made or the disposition of the proceeds.\nFor purposes of medical assistance eligibility provided under sections 256B.055, 256B.056, and 256B.06, proceeds from a reverse mortgage must be disregarded as income in the month of receipt but are a resource if retained after the month of receipt.","path":["PUBLIC WELFARE AND RELATED ACTIVITIES","CHAPTER 256.
