Stat. § 299C.5655","heading":"MISSING PERSONS; STANDARDIZED REPORTS AND PROCEDURES.","body":"(a) By September 1, 2009, the superintendent of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension shall develop:\n(1) a standardized form for use by all law enforcement agencies when taking a missing person report; and\n(2) a model policy that incorporates standard processes, procedures, and information to be provided to interested persons regarding developments in a missing person case.\n(b) In developing the standardized form and model policy, the superintendent of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension shall convene a working group that includes interested members of the public and representatives of the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association, Minnesota Sheriffs' Association, Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association, and a nonprofit foundation formed to assist in locating the missing persons. The working group shall be funded by private resources.","path":["PUBLIC SAFETY","CHAPTER 299C.
