Regulations; applicability.\nA tanning facility in this state must be constructed, operated, and maintained according to sections 325H.01 to 325H.10.\nSubd. 2. Exemptions.\nSections 325H.01 to 325H.10 do not apply to:\n(a) a person who:\n(1) uses equipment which emits ultraviolet radiation incidental to its normal operation; and\n(2) does not use the equipment described in clause (1) to deliberately expose parts of the living human body to ultraviolet radiation for the purpose of tanning or other treatment;\n(b) a physician licensed by the Board of Medical Practice who uses, in the practice of medicine, medical diagnostic and therapeutic equipment that emits ultraviolet radiation; and\n(c) an individual who owns tanning equipment exclusively for personal, noncommercial use.","path":["TRADE REGULATIONS, CONSUMER PROTECTION","CHAPTER 325H.
