Stat. § 325K.02","heading":"PURPOSES AND CONSTRUCTION.","body":"This chapter shall be construed consistently with what is commercially reasonable under the circumstances and to effectuate the following purposes:\n(1) to facilitate commerce by means of reliable electronic messages;\n(2) to minimize the incidence of forged digital signatures and fraud in electronic commerce;\n(3) to implement legally the general import of relevant standards, such as X.509 of the International Telecommunication Union, formerly known as the International Telegraph and Telephone consultative committee; and\n(4) to establish, in coordination with multiple states, uniform rules regarding the authentication and reliability of electronic messages.","path":["TRADE REGULATIONS, CONSUMER PROTECTION","CHAPTER 325K.
