Stat. § 326B.998","heading":"PENALTY FOR OPERATORS.","body":"(a) No person shall operate or cause to be operated a boiler or pressure vessel at a higher pressure than is indicated on the data plate attached to the boiler or pressure vessel.\n(b) No master or other person having charge of the machinery of a boat used for the conveyance of passengers in the waters of this state, or engineer or other person having charge of a boiler, steam engine, or other apparatus for generating or employing steam, shall create or allow to be created any condition whereby human life is endangered. Every owner and lessee of a boat, boiler, steam engine, or other apparatus for generating or supplying steam who has knowledge of a condition whereby human life is endangered, or of circumstances which would cause such a condition, shall take prompt action to correct the condition or circumstances and eliminate the danger to human life.\n(c) Any person who violates paragraph (a) or (b) is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.","path":["TRADE REGULATIONS, CONSUMER PROTECTION","CHAPTER 326B.
