Stat. § 4.47","heading":"REPORT ON COMPULSIVE GAMBLING.","body":"The governor shall report to the legislature by February 1 of each odd-numbered year on the state's progress in addressing the problem of compulsive gambling. The report must include:\n(1) a summary of available data describing the extent of the problem in Minnesota;\n(2) a summary of programs, both governmental and private, that\n(i) provide diagnosis and treatment for compulsive gambling;\n(ii) enhance public awareness of the problem and the availability of compulsive gambling services;\n(iii) are designed to prevent compulsive gambling and other problem gambling by elementary and secondary school students and vulnerable adults; and\n(iv) offer professional training in the identification, referral, and treatment of compulsive gamblers;\n(3) the likely impact on compulsive gambling of each form of gambling; and\n(4) budget recommendations for state-level compulsive gambling programs and activities.","path":["CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICES AND DUTIES","CHAPTER 4.
