Application.\nFor the purposes of sections 469.50 to 469.54, the terms defined in this section have the meanings given them.\nSubd. 2. City.\n\"City\" means the city of Duluth.\nSubd. 3. Commissioner.\n\"Commissioner\" means the commissioner of employment and economic development.\nSubd. 4. County.\n\"County\" means St. Louis County.\nSubd. 5. District.\n\"District\" means the regional exchange district established under section 469.51.\nSubd. 6. Medical business entity west.\n\"Medical business entity west\" means a nonprofit integrated health system with two hospitals located within the district.\nSubd. 7. Medical business entity east.\n\"Medical business entity east\" means a nonprofit health system operating one hospital within the district.\nSubd. 8. Public infrastructure project.\n(a) \"Public infrastructure project\" means a project identified in section 469.53.\n(b) A public infrastructure project is not a business subsidy under section 116J.993.","path":["LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT","CHAPTER 469.
