As in section 473.859.\nExcept as provided in the metropolitan system statement, comprehensive plans of towns shall include the matters specified in section 473.859.\nSubd. 2. Plan preparation.\nEach town within the counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Scott, and Washington, authorized to plan under sections 462.351 to 462.364, or under special law, shall by resolution determine whether it will prepare the comprehensive plan for its jurisdiction. Each such town also shall specify, pursuant to agreement with the county within which it is situated, any parts of its plan and official controls, if any, the preparation of which it delegates to the county.\nSubd. 3. Use county.\nTowns within counties which have adopted comprehensive plans applicable to the town shall, to the maximum extent, use county preparation of their comprehensive plans.","path":["METROPOLITAN AREA","CHAPTER 473.
