Stat. § 473.869","heading":"EXTENSION.","body":"A local governmental unit may by resolution request that the council extend the time for fulfilling the requirements of sections 462.355, subdivision 1a, 473.175, and 473.851 to 473.871. A request for extension shall be accompanied by a description of the activities previously undertaken by a local governmental unit in fulfillment of the requirements of sections 462.355, 473.175, and 473.851 to 473.871, and an explanation of the reasons necessitating and justifying the request. Upon a finding of exceptional circumstances or undue hardship, the council may, in its discretion, grant by resolution a request for extension and may attach reasonable requirements or conditions to the extension.","path":["METROPOLITAN AREA","CHAPTER 473.
