Scope of requirement.\nThis section applies to any of the following if issued or renewed to a Minnesota resident or to cover a Minnesota resident:\n(1) a health plan, as defined in section 62A.011;\n(2) coverage described in section 62A.011, subdivision 3, clauses (2), (3), or (6) to (12); and\n(3) a policy, contract, or certificate issued by a community integrated service network licensed under chapter 62N.\nSubd. 2. Requirement.\nCoverage described in subdivision 1 that provides for payment for surgical first assisting benefits or services shall be construed as providing for payment for a registered nurse who performs first assistant functions and services that are within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.","path":["INSURANCE","CHAPTER 62A.
