Stat. § 97B.722","heading":"POSSESSING FIREARMS; HUNTING TURKEY.","body":"(a) While afield hunting turkeys, licensees may not have in possession or control:\n(1) any firearm that is not a legal firearm as defined in paragraph (c); or\n(2) any bow and arrow except those defined as legal for taking turkeys in rules adopted by the commissioner.\n(b) Paragraph (a) does not apply to a person carrying a handgun in compliance with section 624.714.\n(c) For hunting turkeys, \"legal firearm\" means a shotgun or muzzleloading shotgun 10 gauge or smaller using fine shot size No. 4 or smaller diameter shot.","path":["GAME AND FISH","CHAPTER 97B.
