Stat. § 104.1215","heading":"Outside employee's election for membership, when.","body":"Any outside employee who has participated in the defined contribution plan established pursuant to sections 104.1200 to 104.1215 for at least six years may elect to become a member of the Missouri state employees' retirement system. Such employee shall:\n(1) Make such election while actively employed in a position that would otherwise be eligible for membership in the Missouri state employees' retirement system except for the provisions of sections 104.1200 to 104.1215;\n(2) Participate in the year 2000 plan;\n(3) Be considered to have met the service requirements contained in section 104.1018;\n(4) Not receive any credited service for service rendered while a participant in such defined contribution plan;\n(5) Forfeit any right to future participation in the defined contribution plan after such election; and\n(6) Not be eligible to receive credited service pursuant to section 104.1090 based on service rendered while a participant in such defined contribution plan.","path":["Title VIII - PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES, BONDS AND RECORDS","Chapter 104 - Retirement of State Officers and Employees"],"source_url":"https://revisor.mo.gov/main/OneSection.aspx?section=104.1215","current_through":"2026 legislative session (floor)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T22:23:25Z","sha256":"34a4e81dfbe02a0aece3b36a540fdba0dab6dd47aa863eca4d0119b3795efd51","source_id":"us-mo","stale":false,"prev":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-104.1210","next":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-105.005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
