The provisions of sections 105.470 to 105.473 shall not apply to any public official or a staff member, employee, spouse or dependent child of a public official when employed by a lobbyist principal and who is acting on behalf of the lobbyist principal in their employment, except if such person's employment is as a lobbyist for the lobbyist principal.\n2.
