For purposes of this section, the following terms mean:\n(1) \"COVID-19 vaccination status\" , an indication of whether a person has received a vaccination against COVID-19;\n(2) \"Hospital\" , the same meaning given to the term in section 197.020;\n(3) \"Procurement organization\" , the same meaning given to the term in section 194.210.\n2. Except if the organ being transplanted is a lung, no hospital, physician, procurement organization, or other person shall consider the COVID-19 vaccination status of a potential organ transplant recipient or potential organ donor in any part of the organ transplant process including, but not limited to:\n(1) The referral of a patient to be considered for a transplant;\n(2) The evaluation of a patient for a transplant;\n(3) The consideration of a patient for placement on a waiting list;\n(4) A patient's particular position on a waiting list; and\n(5) The evaluation of a potential donor to determine his or her suitability as an organ donor.","path":["Title XII - PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE","Chapter 194 - Death — Disposition of Dead Bodies"],"source_url":"https://revisor.mo.gov/main/OneSection.aspx?section=194.321","current_through":"2026 legislative session (floor)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T22:23:26Z","sha256":"26e4920c00dcaae12f060c44855a166137041bbb53d8f878786d17a1a223211c","source_id":"us-mo","stale":false,"prev":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-194.320","next":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-194.350"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
