Stat. § 251.180","heading":"Projects covered.","body":"Comprehensive planning, state and regional, shall include, but not be limited to, the planning for the following:\n(1) Public water systems;\n(2) Storm water drainage and flood control systems;\n(3) Sanitary sewerage systems;\n(4) Integrated transportation systems;\n(5) Orderly land-use arrangements for residential, commercial, industrial and public and other purposes;\n(6) Local, area-wide and state governmental services coordinated with federal governmental services insofar as may be feasible;\n(7) Solid waste disposal systems or facilities;\n(8) Educational facilities;\n(9) Open space, park and recreational areas;\n(10) Improved standards of community aesthetics and facilities design;\n(11) General living conditions and environmental health;\n(12) Community health and hospital needs and related facilities; and\n(13) The coordination of planning activities for all federal assistance and grant-in-aid programs, which require comprehensive planning as prerequisites for eligibility.","path":["Title XVI - CONSERVATION, RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT","Chapter 251 - Community Affairs, Planning and Development"],"source_url":"https://revisor.mo.gov/main/OneSection.aspx?section=251.180","current_through":"2026 legislative session (floor)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T22:23:26Z","sha256":"6fce5d4b638b5da278a3bca1a069b327258e78a382eacd47a3bed62aa0ec8ab3","source_id":"us-mo","stale":false,"prev":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-251.170","next":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-251.190"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
