The commodity merchandising council shall:\n(1) Elect a chairman and any other officers as is considered desirable;\n(2) Authorize the director with the approval of the council to expend a budgeted amount of the commodity council merchandising fund in the administration of the commodity merchandising program and in the collection of commodity merchandising fees;\n(3) Perform such other duties as may be prescribed in the commodity merchandising program.\n2.
