Stat. § 400.9-623","heading":"Right to redeem collateral.","body":"(a) A debtor, any secondary obligor, or any other secured party or lienholder may redeem collateral.\n(b) To redeem collateral, a person shall tender:\n(1) Fulfillment of all obligations secured by the collateral; and\n(2) The reasonable expenses and attorney's fees described in section 400.9-615(a)(1).\n(c) A redemption may occur at any time before a secured party:\n(1) Has collected collateral under section 400.9-607;\n(2) Has disposed of collateral or entered into a contract for its disposition under section 400.9-610; or\n(3) Has accepted collateral in full or partial satisfaction of the obligation it secures under section 400.9-622.","path":["Title XXVI - TRADE AND COMMERCE","Chapter 400 - Uniform Commercial Code"],"source_url":"https://revisor.mo.gov/main/OneSection.aspx?section=400.9-623","current_through":"2026 legislative session (floor)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T22:23:28Z","sha256":"8db367b26b584ea34f8b41b95793454535b3353147da4d75ceebe7d41a7d7749","source_id":"us-mo","stale":false,"prev":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-400.9-622","next":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-400.9-624"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
