Stat. § 454.1626","heading":"Contest by obligor.","body":"(a) An obligor may contest the validity or enforcement of an income withholding order issued in another state and received directly by an employer in this state by registering the order in a tribunal of this state and filing a contest to that order as provided in Article 6, sections 454.1632 to 454.1677, or otherwise contesting the order in the same manner as if the order had been issued by a tribunal of this state.\n(b) The obligor shall give notice of the contest to:\n(1) a support enforcement agency providing services to the obligee;\n(2) each employer that has directly received an income withholding order relating to the obligor; and\n(3) the person designated to receive payments in the income withholding order or, if no person is designated, to the obligee.","path":["Title XXX - DOMESTIC RELATIONS","Chapter 454 - Enforcement of Support Law"],"source_url":"https://revisor.mo.gov/main/OneSection.aspx?section=454.1626","current_through":"2026 legislative session (floor)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T22:23:28Z","sha256":"f3769fa4d28535301b2e411cc6b04e4280158ab24071190393052dbf20d74ee1","source_id":"us-mo","stale":false,"prev":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-454.1623","next":"us-mo/mo.-rev.-stat.-454.1629"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
