No person shall be elected or appointed to the office of coroner unless such person:\n(1) Is a citizen of the United States;\n(2) Is over twenty-one years of age;\n(3) Has resided within the state for the whole year immediately preceding such person's election or appointment; and\n(4) Has resided within the county for the six months immediately preceding such person's election or appointment.\n2.
