Code Ann. § 11-15-25","body":"Any party to the submission may also move the court to modify or correct the award in the following cases:\n\n(a) Where there is an evident miscalculation of figures, or an evident mistake in the description of any person, thing, or property referred to in such award;\n\n(b) Where the arbitrators shall have awarded upon some matter not submitted to them, nor affecting the merits of the decision of the matter submitted;\n\n(c) Where the award shall be imperfect in some matter of form, not affecting the merits of the controversy, and when, if it had been a verdict of a jury rendered in such court, the defect could have been amended or disregarded by the court.","path":["MS Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"e34d912b68be51d462da90ffa491323b7a15d7701887aca2bf4137a55bee8736","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-11-15-23","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-11-15-27"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
