Code Ann. § 21-39-11","body":"Any person aggrieved by any order of the governing authorities of any municipality, with reference to the order in which claims are allowed and paid, shall have the right of appeal to the circuit court of the county in which the municipality is situated as provided by Section 11-51-75 , except that an appeal from an order, or any other action of the governing authorities of the municipality, especially preferring payment of one allowed claim over another allowed claim shall operate as a supersedeas and prevent the payment of the claim then allowed until the matter is finally determined on the appeal.","path":["MS Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"e6a92275ece744b801b92b3ddfb56d8478733f4d09c06776531cf75975a5e611","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-21-38-9","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-21-39-13"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
