Code Ann. § 27-19-44.1","body":"(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, One Dollar ($1.00) of the additional fee for any distinctive or special tag that would otherwise be distributed to a nongovernmental organization or entity, shall be deposited to the credit of the special fund created in Section 27-19-44.2 .\n\n(2) Subsection (1) of this section shall not apply to funds required to be deposited to the credit of the Mississippi Burn Care Fund created in Section 7-9-70 .\n\n(3) Subsection (1) of this section shall not apply if a portion of the fee for any distinctive or special tag is required to be deposited to the credit of the fund created in Section 27-19-44.2 by the law authorizing the issuance of the distinctive or special tag.","path":["MS Code","Title 27"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"7b695beec6fdf978ba7bde9a4171b817cc0f8cf8d3c5a1840e619abaef893837","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-27-19-44","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-27-19-44.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
