Code Ann. § 27-7-22.28","body":"As used in Sections 27-7-22.28 and 27-7-22.29 , the following terms and phrases shall have the meanings ascribed in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n\n(a) “ Alternative energy project ” means a business enterprise engaged in manufacturing or producing alternative energy in this state with not less than fifty percent (50%) of the finished product being derived from resources or products from this state.\n\n(b) “ Authority ” means the Mississippi Development Authority.\n\n(c) “ Producer ” means a manufacturer or producer of alternative energy through an alternative fuels project.\n\n(d) “ State ” means the State of Mississippi.","path":["MS Code","Title 27"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"55f5f5c25ba635dff1195880f44835e094d3da91d0a0664d68fe156b2dfaf972","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-27-7-22.27","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-27-7-22.29"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
