Code Ann. § 31-1-17","body":"The Secretary of State shall furnish to the contractor for printing all of the acts of the Legislature within thirty (30) days after the adjournment thereof. The contractor, within ninety (90) days thereafter, shall print, with the index, and bind all copies of the acts as required by the Secretary of State and deliver same to the said secretary, who may extend the time of the contractor, if necessary.\n\nWithin six (6) months after the adjournment of the Legislature, the journals of the two (2) houses shall be printed with the indexes, bound, and delivered to the Secretary of State, unless the time be extended by said Secretary of State.","path":["MS Code","Title 31"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"d3681ae90c2e78f8fdb965c87aa45054d219af94eac0c7e2a24d58e3a0da7297","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-31-1-15","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-31-1-19"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
